Thermograms instead of Mammograms

If you’ve been sluggin’ through mammograms (dang that hurts!), you’re going to love getting a thermogram instead. The process is super-simple. A thermographer takes photos from the waist up of your bare chest area as you hold your arms up in the air and turn very slowly. The special camera used records levels of heat which can signify levels of inflammation and congestion. A doctor or thermographic technician can then interpret the results from the photos.

Bonus: these photos can show if you have cholesterol/plaque/inorganic minerals/heavy metal build up in the arteries in and around your chest. Another bonus: ask the thermographer to take photos of the carotid artery on each side of your neck - there could be cholesterol/plaque/inorganic minerals/heavy metal build up there as well. Because congested/scarred arteries are inflamed, they can image with the according level of heat. If you find out you have this type of build up, you can get proactive in getting rid of it instead of trying to do damage control after a heart attack or stroke. This is a simple and painless way to get a lot of good information.

If you do choose to have a mammogram, be sure to ask for a radiation shield for your neck so as to protect your thyroid and parathyroid from radiation.
