Strong Constitution or Sensitive Constitution

Which would you rather have? One’s constitution represents one’s ability to handle stress on all levels – mentally, emotionally and physically. A person’s constitution is a genetic predisposition which can be enhanced or detracted from by diet, environment and lifestyle choices.

At first glance, many would say they would like to have a strong constitution. A strong constitution will carry one through many bumps in the road without feeling those bumps. The down side of having a strong constitution is that one can routinely over-abuse themselves because he or she knows they can. If a period of rest and recuperation is not eventually observed, a person can take one hit too many and experience system failure.

For those with a sensitive constitution, they know they must take good care of themselves in order to be at their best. They tend not to abuse themselves because the price of recovery is just too high.

Knowing your constitution can help you to understand your body’s needs – ability to withstand stress, nutritional needs, tendencies toward glandular issues, tolerance of noise, inclination toward introversion or extroversion, and a whole host of other criteria.

Constitutional typing is one of many pieces of information an Iridologist can interpret from your eyes during an eye reading.
